Krafton India Esports has officially announced the return of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) for its fourth season in 2025.

The announcement came during the final day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 Grand Finals, where Team Versatile lifted the trophy.

The upcoming BMPS 2025 will begin on May 22 and will feature a LAN event for the Grand Finals in New Delhi.

The tournament will maintain its impressive prize pool of INR 2 crore (₹20 million), matching the amount from the previous season.

During day 3 of the BGIS 2025 matches, Krafton India's CEO Sean (Hyunil) Sohn took to the stage to make this major announcement that has excited fans across the country. The BMPS is widely recognized as one of the premier tournaments in the BGMI esports circuit.

According to Krafton India Esports, BMPS 2025 will be an invite-only tournament (unlike BGIS) featuring India's top professional BGMI squads. The competition will start with online matches before moving to the high-stakes LAN finals in New Delhi.

While specific details about the tournament structure, format, and participating teams have not yet been revealed, Krafton India has confirmed they will be announced soon.

The timing of this announcement is significant as it comes during the conclusion of BGIS 2025, which itself boasts a massive prize pool of INR 3.21 crore, with the winner receiving INR 69.6 lakhs.

Looking back at last year's competition, Team XSPARK claimed the BMGI Pro Series S3 championship, winning INR 75 lakhs in prize money. Numen and Godlike Esports were the runners-up in the event, which was held in Kochi, Kerala, last September.

Before that, Blind Esports lifted the second season trophy at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with an INR 50 lakhs grand prize.
