Block Blast! Game Wins Gold Award at Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards

Hungry Studio has received a Gold Stevie Award for its popular mobile game Block Blast! in the Best Mobile Apps/Casual Game category at the 12th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

The award recognizes innovation across all 29 markets in the Asia-Pacific region.

Stevie Awards, named after the Greek word for "crowned," are considered among the world's top business honors.

Winners will celebrate at a special ceremony on May 13 in Seoul, South Korea.

This year's competition was fierce, with more than 1,000 nominations submitted across various categories, including Excellence in Innovation, Innovative Management, and Corporate Websites. Hungry Studio stood out by winning the prestigious Gold Award for their casual mobile game.

Block Blast! has an impressive 40 million daily active users and 160 million monthly active users worldwide as of late 2024.

Block Blast! has made its mark in the mobile gaming world since its 2021 launch. The game builds on traditional block puzzle mechanics while introducing a unique "drag-match-disappear" gameplay style. Players can enjoy two different modes: Classic Block Puzzle Mode and Block Adventure Mode. These options provide a balanced challenge that transforms chaotic arrangements into orderly structures.
