Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, the popular gacha shooter from developer SHIFT UP and publisher Level Infinite, is celebrating its 2.5-year anniversary with a multi-month celebration packed with in-game content, real-world collaborations, and fan-focused events.
Announced during today’s special livestream, the 2.5 Anniversary Special Update will kick off on April 24, introducing new characters, story content, challenges, and more to the game's ever-expanding post-apocalyptic universe.
April 24: New Characters and Story Content
The anniversary update will debut two new playable characters: Little Mermaid and Mihara: Bonding Chain. Both will be featured in the all-new story chapter titled "Unbreakable Sphere", which continues the narrative of humanity’s last stand against the robotic Raptures, led by an elite squad of female androids known as Nikkes.
The update also adds new event challenges, customizable character skins, and exclusive rewards, expanding the tactical and aesthetic options for players.
May 29: Baseball-Themed Event and MLB Crossover
On May 29, the celebration takes a sporty turn with a baseball-themed in-game event, introducing baseball-inspired missions, costumes, and unlockable items. The event coincides with a major collaboration between NIKKE and the San Diego Padres, set to run during the MLB series against the Los Angeles Dodgers from June 9–11 at Petco Park.
