Rockstar Games Offers $3 Million to Bring Players Back to GTA Online

Rockstar Games is giving away $3 million of in-game currency to players who haven't logged into GTA Online recently. This special offer aims to bring back players who have taken a break from the game.

The promotion is specifically targeted at players who haven't played GTA Online in the past 60 days. However, there are several requirements players must meet to get the full amount.

To be eligible for this offer, players need to have a Rockstar Games account linked to their gaming platform. According to the information provided on Rockstar's website, players must claim the offer there and should not have received any bans or suspensions from Rockstar Games.

The $3 million reward comes in three separate parts. First, players can receive $1 million simply by claiming the offer on Rockstar's website and signing into GTA Online. This initial amount will appear in players' Maze Bank accounts within 72 hours.

For the remaining $2 million, additional actions are required. As Gameranx reports, players need to purchase either a Great White, Whale, or Megalodon Shark Card to get an extra $1.5 million. The final $500,000 requires a subscription to GTA+, Rockstar's premium membership service.

Current GTA+ subscribers aren't left out either. They can still claim the money if they meet the main requirement of not having played GTA Online in the last two months.

This offer comes at an interesting time for the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Many players are eagerly awaiting Grand Theft Auto 6, which Rockstar has confirmed for fall 2025. This promotion may be an attempt to maintain interest in GTA Online while fans wait for the next major installment.
