Honkai Star Rail Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Big Rewards in April 2025

Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up to celebrate its second anniversary on April 26, 2025, and it’s bringing a haul of rewards for players to enjoy. Since its launch in 2023, this space-fantasy RPG from HoYoverse has built a massive following, and the anniversary promises to keep the momentum going with generous freebies and events.
The celebration kicks off with the Version 3.2 update, dropping on April 9, and runs through the anniversary date. Players can snag a total of 30 free pulls—20 Star Rail Special Passes from the "Festive Gifts" login event (earned over seven days) and 1,600 Stellar Jades (equivalent to 10 pulls) delivered via in-game mail on April 26. You’ll even get to pick a favorite character to send you that anniversary gift, adding a personal touch. Alongside the pulls, 10 Fuel will be thrown in to sweeten the deal.
A standout reward is a free 5-star character—your choice between Ruan Mei or Luocha—available to claim anytime between Version 3.2 and Version 3.4. This is a big win for newbies looking to boost their roster or veterans aiming for an Eidolon upgrade. Plus, there’s a Golden Companion Spirit up for grabs on April 9, which can be traded for another 5-star character from the Exchange Shop.
The main event, "Star Rail WORLD," launches with Version 3.2 and runs from April 9 to May 19, 2025. It’s a management sim where you team up with characters to run an interstellar exhibition, earning rewards like the 4-star Erudition Light Cone "The Great Cosmic Enterprise" and more Stellar Jades.
Other events include the "Annual Trailblaze Report" (April 26 to May 7), offering 180 Stellar Jades and a recap of your 2024 stats, and boosted drop rates (300%) for relics and ornaments in Planar Fissure (April 23) and Realm of the Strange (May 9).
Beyond the game, HoYoverse is going global with a concert livestream on May 3, 2025, and a new animated short on April 26. For spenders, the First Top-Up Double Bonus on Oneiric Shards resets, and collecting 18,000 Oneiric Shards in Version 3.2 unlocks another Golden Companion Spirit.
With new 5-star characters Castorice and Anaxa debuting in Version 3.2, these rewards couldn’t come at a better time to pull for them. It’s a stacked anniversary—plenty for free-to-play Trailblazers and whales alike to dig into.
