KRAFTON India Expands Gaming Incubator Program, Inviting More Game Developers

KIGI Program of Krafton

KRAFTON India, the makers of the immensely popular battle royale game, BGMI, has announced an expansion of the first cohort of their gaming incubator program, KIGI

Launched in October 2023, KIGI offers a unique opportunity for talented Indian game developers to receive mentorship, resources, and support to transform their innovative ideas into successful gaming ventures.

Why Should Game Developers Apply for KIGI?

The program provides substantial financial support ranging from $50,000 to $150,000, with exceptional teams potentially receiving up to $250,000 to cover early development costs.

This financial backing allows teams to focus solely on creating and refining their games without worrying about funding constraints.

What Other Resources Does KIGI Offer?

In addition to financial support, KIGI provides access to AppMagic, a cutting-edge toolkit for extensive mobile app market research.

Developers can leverage AppMagic's powerful features for competitive intelligence, product development, user acquisition, and lead generation, giving them a competitive edge in the dynamic mobile market landscape.

Do KIGI Participants Receive Mentorship?

Absolutely! The selected startups in KIGI's first cohort will benefit from the guidance of three industry veterans with extensive experience in game development, production, and marketing:

  1. HARNS KIM - A Krafton Inc veteran with over 25 years of experience in game production, design, and marketing, with a deep understanding of the global gaming landscape, including emerging technologies like AI and blockchain.

  2. DAVE CURD - VP and Creative Director at PUBG Studios, bringing 25 years of expertise in entertainment and gaming, having played key roles in developing franchises like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: Ghosts.

  3. JOSEPH PARK - A product head, producer, and game designer with 24+ years of experience, having worked on games like Black Squad, Battlefield - Online, and Alliance of Valiant Arms.

How Can Developers Apply for KIGI?

Applications to join the current cohort of the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator Program are now open.

If you're a game developer with innovative ideas and a passion for gaming, this is your chance to apply and take the first steps toward realizing your gaming dreams.
