Nintendo dropped a whole bunch of exciting news during its recent Switch 2 Direct, and one of the biggest highlights came from Sega, which revealed it’s bringing five games to the upcoming console during its launch window in mid-2025.

The lineup is a pretty sweet mix of remasters, enhanced editions, and fresh new titles, all spanning different genres. Whether you're into intense action, quirky simulation, or colorful puzzle battles, there's a little something for everyone. Let’s break it down.

Yakuza 0 Director's Cut

Yakuza 0 Director's Cut

Arguably the biggest headline from Sega’s batch is Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, a revamped edition of the fan-favorite 2015 action-adventure prequel to the Like a Dragon series.

Set in a neon-lit 1988 Japan during the country’s economic boom, the game dives into the origin stories of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima

This new version adds 30 minutes of brand-new story cutscenes, an online multiplayer mode called Red Light Raid (yes, really), and 60 unlockable characters to play with in co-op beatdowns.

There’s also expanded voice acting support, including English and Chinese dubs, alongside the original Japanese audio.

Plus, subtitles in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and more mean more fans can jump in without missing a beat.

The game is set to launch as a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, coinciding with the console’s release. While it will eventually come to other platforms, the duration of this exclusivity remains unspecified.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army

Originally released back in 2006 under the mouthful name Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, this cult classic is getting a shiny remaster.

Set in an alternate 1930s Tokyo full of supernatural intrigue, you’ll play as Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, a demon-summoning detective solving mysteries with style.

The remastered version overhauls the battle system using elements from the game’s sequel, and of course, it’s getting visual upgrades fit for the Switch 2.

Expect 120+ demons to summon, dual voice options, and a bunch of quality-of-life improvements to modernize the experience. For longtime fans and newcomers alike, this one’s shaping up to be the definitive version.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will launch for Switch 2 as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam) versions on June 19.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S

Puzzle fans, rejoice—Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S is on the way, bringing back the chaotic mashup of Japan’s bubbly Puyo Puyo and the global icon Tetris.

This entry introduces the all-new “Puyo Tetris Doubles” mode, where two players share one game board to build devastating combo attacks. That’s right—co-op puzzling madness is now a thing (2v2 battle).

You’ll have 40 characters to pick from, including a special guest appearance by Sonic the Hedgehog.

There’s support for both local and online multiplayer, plus an expanded adventure mode packed with even more story content.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 5 June.

Sonic X Shadow Generations

Sonic X Shadow Generations

After hitting other platforms in 2024, Sonic X Shadow Generations is making the jump to the Switch 2, this time with "enhanced and optimized" performance.

It’s a two-for-one deal: a brand-new campaign starring Shadow the Hedgehog (complete with his chaos powers and a face-off against Black Doom), alongside a full remaster of Sonic Generations from 2011.

Sega says the Switch 2 version will take advantage of the new hardware, so expect smoother performance and sharper graphics.

Currently, there's no information about a Switch 2 upgrade offer or anything similar, but if we learn of any developments, we'll inform you.

Two Point Museum

Two Point Museum

From the minds behind Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus comes a fresh simulation game with a cultural twist: Two Point Museum.

You’ll step into the shoes of a quirky curator, designing exhibits, managing staff, and trying to keep visitors entertained.

The game was released for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S last month and will launch on Switch 2 later this year.

Sega hasn't confirmed the release date for Switch 2 yet, but it’s safe to assume the game will use the Switch 2’s enhanced power—and maybe even some fun Joy-Con gimmicks.

Sega plans to share more details on each title as we get closer to launch, but for now, this early look at their Switch 2 offerings gives us a lot to be excited about. No word yet on upgrade paths for existing Switch owners, so fingers crossed on that front.
