Spice Secrets

Shura Games, a Bengaluru-based game studio, has opened early access for its debut mobile puzzle game, Spice Secrets.

This new game mixes storytelling with cooking education in a fun way. Players take on the role of a character named Nani who works to bring her kitchen back to life while discovering culinary secrets.

The game features various puzzles and mini-games that teach players how to make Indian dishes including Dosa, Idli, Vada, and Holige.

According to reports, Shura Games received significant support from KRAFTON's India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) mentor program. As part of KIGI's first cohort, the Shura team got help with game design, engineering, testing, and market planning. KIGI was created to help indie game developers across India by providing funding, development resources, and marketing assistance.

In related news from the Indian gaming scene, ReDimension Games from Nagaland recently showcased their PC game "Sojourn Past" at the India Gaming Show 2025. This studio also received backing from KRAFTON through the KIGI program. Their 2D action-adventure game combines intense combat with bullet-hell elements, drawing inspiration from popular indie titles like Hyper Light Drifter, Furi, and Gris.

Spice Secrets is now available for Android users through the Google Play Store in early access.

The release of Spice Secrets highlights the growing indie game development scene in India, with companies like KRAFTON actively supporting local talent through mentorship and resources.
