Street Fighter 6 appears to be facing another major leak, with information about the game's entire Year 3 Character Pass reportedly surfacing online well before any official announcement.
According to a ResetEra user Patrick Balkaneil—who accurately leaked Year 2’s roster before, four new fighters will join the game's roster throughout 2025 and into 2026. The leaked lineup includes three returning characters: Alex, Sagat, and C. Viper, along with Ingrid, who has a unique status in the Street Fighter universe.
Alex, who first appeared in Street Fighter III: New Generation (1997) and was previously available as DLC in Street Fighter V, would bring his hybrid wrestling and kickboxing style to the game. His addition would expand the game's selection of powerful grapplers, complementing fighters like Zangief, Manon, and Marisa. His SFV appearance modernized his moveset, so SF6 would likely build on that with Drive System integration, like Rush or Impact for his command grabs.
Sagat, an iconic figure in the franchise since the original Street Fighter (1987) where he served as the final boss, would likely be warmly welcomed by longtime fans. As the "Emperor of Muay Thai," his absence in SF6’s base roster has been notable for fans, especially after his SFV appearance. His long reach (Tiger Shots, Tiger Knee, Tiger Uppercut) would synergize well with SF6’s Drive System—imagine Tiger Shots with Drive Rush or a parry-enhanced Tiger Uppercut.
C. Viper debuted in Street Fighter IV (2008) and last appeared in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (2011). Her CIA-agent gimmick, blending martial arts with gadgets (jet boots, electrified gloves, seismic mines), makes her unique. Her moves like Thunder Knuckle and Burning Kick are more about electricity and explosives—but her high-tech vibe fits SF6’s cinematic style.
Perhaps the most surprising inclusion is Ingrid, described in the leak as being viewed internally at Capcom as a "guest character" in some capacity. The "Eternal Goddess" first officially appeared in Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004) and later in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX (2006), though she was originally planned for the canceled Capcom Fighting All-Stars (2003). Her fighting style, with light-based attacks (Sunshot, Sunrise), ballet-inspired movements, and telekinetic quirks (Sun Arch), is distinctive but less grounded than most SF characters, which could make her SF6 adaptation tricky yet visually striking.
Ingrid has maintained strong popularity in Japan, frequently ranking in the top five of regional popularity polls. She recently placed 13th globally in the 2024 "Who's Your Top Tier" poll hosted within Street Fighter 6's Battle Hub, and has been featured in the game through stickers and profile titles.

This continues Street Fighter 6's troubled history with leaks. Previously, the game's entire base roster and some DLC fighters leaked in June 2022, a full year before release. Season 1's DLC followed shortly after, and the Year 2 Character Pass leaked before its official reveal at Summer Game Fest 2024.
From a competitive standpoint, these additions would bring diverse fighting styles to the game. Alex offers a hybrid-grapple approach familiar to Street Fighter III players, while Sagat brings his powerful, reach-focused combat. C. Viper's gadget-based techniques provide options for both offensive and defensive play. Ingrid presents perhaps the most exciting possibility for innovation, as her rare appearances mean developers have considerable freedom to reimagine her for modern gameplay.
Capcom has not confirmed this information, and an official announcement about Year 3 content likely won't come until closer to Summer Game Fest 2025. The company is still in the process of releasing Year 2 fighters, with Elena yet to join the roster as the final DLC character of the current season.
Thanks SI!
