Supercell has introduced its newest game simply called "Boat Game" and is now accepting applications for alpha testing.

The reveal trailer shows players customizing characters, sailing boats, exploring islands, and engaging in multiplayer shooter gameplay. While Supercell is keeping most details about Boat Game secret for now, they're allowing a select group of players to try an early version through the alpha test.

"Currently, we can only share this game with a limited number of players this time and we would like to bring it to a diverse group of players," Supercell explained on their alpha sign-up page.

The alpha test application form asks which devices potential testers own, including iOS, Android, and other platforms like Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This suggests that Boat Game might be available across multiple platforms.

This represents a major shift for Supercell, as all its previous games since Hay Day and Clash of Clans have been mobile exclusive.

The timing of Boat Game's announcement is noteworthy, as it comes right after Supercell reported record-breaking revenue of $3 billion in 2024. As per company reports, this financial milestone was achieved when all of their live games showed year-over-year growth in sales for the first time since 2014.

Boat Game isn't the only new project in Supercell's pipeline. The company launched Squad Busters last year and is currently developing "Project R.I.S.E.," a role-playing game with rogue-lite elements inspired by their previously canceled Clash Heroes game.
