A Singapore rating board has officially rated Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4, practically confirming the game's existence before its expected announcement next week.
According to Gematsu, the game is planned for a 2025 release across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC – following the same release pattern as the previous Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remake.
More information is scheduled to be revealed on March 4th, as hinted by Activision's social media post from the official game account stating: "Loading... new parks. 3/4/25." This date aligns with a countdown currently running on the game's website, creating anticipation among fans.
The cryptic "new parks" reference has already sparked various theories in the gaming community. Some wonder if this means an entirely new game, while others speculate it could be an expansion to the existing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remake. However, most signs point to a combination remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4, which would perfectly match the "3/4" date reference.
The social media post features images of Tony Hawk alongside fellow professional skaters Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Rodney Mullen, and Eric Koston – all of whom appeared in both the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4 games, further supporting the remake theory.
This news follows several other hints from Activision in recent weeks. The company added a remastered version of Black Ops 2's skatepark-themed multiplayer map called "Grind" in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 02 Reloaded update. Within this map, a TV screen displays the date "03.04.25," referring to March 4th in American date format.
Additionally, professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones recently revealed he would be included in an upcoming, yet-to-be-announced Tony Hawk game, adding another piece to the puzzle.
The original Tony Hawk Pro Skater games were beloved for their accessible gameplay, impressive trick systems, and memorable soundtracks, with many gamers hoping these new remakes will capture the magic of the originals while adding modern improvements.
