The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes Join Fortnite in New WWE Crossover

The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes Join Fortnite

Fortnite has entered the squared circle once again—this time with WWE legends The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes making their debut as playable characters. The highly anticipated crossover launched today, April 18, bringing together fans of wrestling and gaming in a high-profile partnership between Epic Games and WWE.

WWE Comes to the Island

Epic officially unveiled the collaboration with a theatrical trailer that blends Fortnite’s signature humor with classic WWE flair. The video opens on Fortnite favorites Fish Thicc and Fish Stick play-wrestling in a WWE ring, only to be interrupted by the unmistakable gong of The Undertaker’s entrance music. The iconic wrestler materializes in the arena, delivering a Tombstone Piledriver and establishing his in-game presence in unforgettable fashion.

The collaboration drops just one day ahead of WrestleMania 41, creating perfect timing and synergy between two entertainment powerhouses.

The Undertaker Cosmetic Set

Thanks to reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, fans got an early look at the Undertaker’s detailed cosmetic bundle, which includes:

  • Two outfit styles: "Ring Gear" (classic in-ring attire) and "Entrance Gear" (dramatic pre-match look)

  • Customization options: Toggle hat on/off and activate the eerie “Deadman Eyes” effect

  • Back Bling: The Urn, with reactive elements

  • Pickaxe: Taker’s Shovel, inspired by his gravedigger persona

  • Emote: Urn’d Respect, echoing a signature Undertaker gesture

These elements faithfully capture the persona that made The Undertaker one of wrestling’s most iconic figures.

Cody Rhodes: The American Nightmare

Joining The Undertaker is Cody Rhodes, better known to fans as The American Nightmare and current WWE champion. Though he arrives with a single outfit style, it features his signature entrance robe, cementing his instantly recognizable look.

His set includes:

  • Back Bling: Nightmare Mantle

  • Pickaxe: Cody’s Cutlass

  • Emote: WOOOAAHH!, based on his crowd-pumping ritual

Bundle Details and Pricing

According to data miner @iFireMonkey, the bundle is priced at 2,800 V-Bucks, slightly more than Fortnite’s previous WWE offering. Individual item prices are as follows:

  • Undertaker Outfit – 1,500 V-Bucks

  • Cody Rhodes Outfit – 1,500 V-Bucks

  • Nightmare Mantle / The Urn Back Blings – 300 V-Bucks each

  • Cody’s Cutlass / Taker’s Shovel Pickaxes – 800 V-Bucks each

  • WOOOAAHH! / Urn’d Respect Emotes – 300 V-Bucks each

  • American Nightmare Wrap – 500 V-Bucks

All items are available in the Fortnite Item Shop for a limited time. As with most crossover content, availability is temporary, so fans looking to collect these WWE icons should act fast.

A Growing History of WWE Crossovers

This isn’t WWE’s first appearance in Fortnite. In August 2023, Epic Games released skins for Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch, complete with WWE-themed gear and emotes. Prior to that, John Cena entered the game in July 2022, and The Rock—a WWE icon in his own right—was previously featured as The Foundation, a key lore character.

With the arrival of The Undertaker and Cody Rhodes, Fortnite continues to expand its pop culture roster—proving once again that the Island is big enough for superheroes, anime icons, and wrestling legends alike.

Fans can view the official trailer on Fortnite’s YouTube channel and across its social media platforms.
