Led by Pukar, the team showcased remarkable consistency over the three-day competition to secure the championship title. The squad, comprising seasoned players Pukar, Galmaboy, Fierce, and RageGod, accumulated an impressive 153 points, powered by 86 eliminations and two Chicken Dinners across 18 matches.
Orangutan Gaming’s Stellar Effort: Orangutan Gaming, captained by Aaru, finished as runners-up with 147 points and one Chicken Dinner. Despite leading after the first day, the team faced challenges on Day 2, which briefly set them back. However, their determined comeback on Day 3 secured them the second position.
Exciting Finale in Chennai: The first two days of the Grand Finals, held online on November 26 and 27, set the stage for an intense competition. The thrilling conclusion took place offline on December 8, 2024, in Chennai, where 16 teams vied for the coveted trophy.
Team Soul and Other Top Performers: Team Soul, under Manya’s leadership, delivered a standout performance on Day 3, clinching third place with 145 points and two Chicken Dinners. Their strong showing, however, fell just short of the top two positions.
Gods Reign, led by experienced player Destro, claimed fourth place with 135 points, bolstered by an impressive four Chicken Dinners. Carnival Gaming, after a promising start, struggled on the final day and dropped to fifth place with 126 points.
Close Competition and Rankings: Team GodLike secured sixth place with 124 points and two Chicken Dinners. They were followed by Team Forever (114 points) and K9 Squad (104 points) in seventh and eighth positions, respectively. Wild Fangs, led by Sensei, rounded out the top nine with 100 points.
Mid and Lower Rankings: Team Tamilas had an average tournament, finishing 11th with 74 points. Other teams like 4Merical Esports and WSB Gaming secured 13th and 14th places with 72 and 60 points, respectively. Gujarat Tigers and Trouble Makerz struggled throughout the competition, finishing at the bottom with 48 and 39 points.
The Red Bull M.E.O. BGMI 2024 finale displayed the incredible skill and tenacity of India’s top BGMI teams, with Vasista Esports emerging as champions after three days of intense action.
